SAMSON architecture is located in Salida, Colorado. My services are available throughout the Colorado central mountains; however, if your project site is outside of this area, and you are interested in our services, please let us know where it is located on the client questionaire (press Contact button) so that we can discuss further. I do have experience getting projects permitted throughout Colorado and the west, including California and Texas.
With over 20 years of experience leading affordable design efforts on residential and community projects, as well as specifying and detailing energy-efficient enclosure systems, I bring a particular expertise that can significantly minimize both construction costs and utility bills for the client.
Combined with my passion for creating spaces that are inviting, enjoyable to live in and full of local charm, I am committed to bringing a cost effective approach that aligns with your budget without sacrificing quality, usability or beauty.

I graduated from Colorado State University with a B.A. and received my Masters of Architecture degree in 2002 from the University of Colorado at Denver.
I chose to remain in Denver in order to gain valued experience under the seasoned leadership of award winning architects and firms. In 2023, after receiving my architecture license and building a diverse portfolio of residential and community designs, I decided that it was finally time for me to relocate to Salida, the Heart of the Rockies, where I now practice architecture at my own studio.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring the great outdoors, particularly hiking and mountain biking in the Salida and Methodist trail systems.
